Patrick, if you know any of their names I might be able to help. All the Estes I knew were in Monahans which is in Ward county which is 36 miles East of Pecos.
My dad grew up in Grandfalls, Ward county and ran around with the Estes boys when he was a boy. First names I remember are Toon and Pembrook.
I also lived and went to school in Pecos in the 1930s and don't remember any of them being in school there. After the war I had a date with a Peggy Estes who was Toon's daughter.
In the meantime you might want to check out the Ward county census for the years between 1900 and 1930.
