Looking for information regarding my great grandfather. He was born about 1852 in Georgia or Alabama or Mississippi. I've seen him on the 1880 census under "Frank Pierson" in Red River County in Texas.
He was married to Martha Jane Johnson and in 1880 had one child, Emma. Sometime after 1886 the family moved to Grannis Arkansas. After 1895, but before 1900 I lose track of him. Frank Was the Sheriff of Polk County Arkansas from 1890 - 1894. They had 8 children, the last of which Hallie John (Also Hal John) was my grandfather was born in 1895. After 1880, I've seen his name as Pearson, our family's current spelling. :>)
I have been unable to find parents, a birth date, an accurate birth state or any solid information on his death.
Any information at all would be great. Thank you!
