I am trying to pin point a death date and death location for my ggg-grandmother, Sarah TRAVIS.
Some say she died near the Cherry Community, Red River Co., TX. Some say she is buried in the Stone Cemetery there....however, I would like proof of that.
I believe that she was living with her daughter and son-in-law (Martha and Thompson CRAWFORD) in Whitley Co.,ARK. in 1900. She was listed as 86 years old then. It could be that something happened to Thompson, & Martha and her mother Sarah, had to move to Red River, TX. to be near relatives (Delilah Cate (Travis) RAINS and her family.)
I was wondering if someone might be able to do a look-up for me in Red River Co. and see if you can find anything specific regarding the death date and burial location for Sarah TRAVIS?
