Leota SETTLE Cuts Her Foot

The Rains County Leader
Emory, Rains County, Texas
May 16, 1913

Little Leota Settle cut her foot so bad while wading water yesterday evening that a doctor had to be called in to sew up the wound.

Frank and Leota were evidently still living in Emory in 1933 as shown by this newspaper clipping:

Easter services will be held at the Emory Baptist church Sunday April 16th, 1933. Every one is invited to attend. A union program will be presented as follows:
All Little Ones Love Easter - Martha Lois Fricks
(The Rains County Leader, April 14, 1933)
Many other people were listed in this article.

Question: Who was Leota Settle?

If anyone can help fill in the blanks, it would be appreciated. I have Fricks information to share if it's needed.
