I recently visited my mother's birthplace for the first time (Shafter, Presidio County,TX) In addition to my ancestory research I would like to learn more of the history of Shafter I plan to return and research Presidio Co records, but in the meantime is there anyone out there willing to share information of Shafter from 1880 to 1920s or steer me to online information. I would be more than happy to share what information I have or later obtain. Olivas, Romero, Martinez,Reyes,
Castelo are some of the families from my mother's lineage with history in Shafter.
