I am doing some research for my cousin on her grandfather,
Robert Daniel Hinde, b. 15 May, 1857, Jackson, Mo., d.
20 Aug, 1909, Presidio County, Tx. He was a peace officer
of some kind, who, along with another man, was drowned in
a flash flood, and was buried on site somewhere near
Shafter. Not listed on Texas Ranger site. Would appreciate
any information known about Mr. Hinde. Thanks!
