Sam A. Roberts m. Emma Bragg, Presidio Co., 1881

I'm looking for information on my gggrandparents and the allied families, Morgan Price Roberts and his wife Nancy. All I know about them was that they lived in IL, and then moved to west Texas. They had three sons: George Washington, Sam A., and Daniel W. George Washington married my ggrandmother, Frances Adalina (Fannie Ann) Bowles Stoutsenberger in Dallas in 1886 and then took her to Fort Davis in west TX to raise Angora goats. Sam was recorded as stealing cattle and marrying Emma Bragg. I believe that Daniel was stationed at Fort Davis.
It's strongly rumored in my family that after George Washington Roberts sired nine children with Fannie Ann, he went to live in Oklahoma where he began another family. He later came back to Carlsbad, NM, where he died in 1939.
Two of their daughters married two Dickson sons, who were also originally living in the Fort Davis area.
If anyone has any information on anyone in the Bragg or Roberts families, please do let me know; it's been a mysterious bunch to me. I don't know if the second family in Oklahoma is true or not.
