Hello Deborah,
My gggrt-grandmother was Cruz Baeza born 1810 in Santa Cruz de Rosales, Chihuahua. Her descendant,Guadalupe Martinez b.1869(my grt-grandfather)migrated to Presidio County abt. 1887 from Saucillo,Chih. after marrying Josefa Morales. All their children including my grandmother Jesusita Martinez were born in Presidio County. If family history is correct some Baeza family as well as Corrales, Martinez;Olivas;Vasquez and other related families were there prior. My Olivas family dates back to 1850 in Presidio Co.

At the present time, I do not have information on which Baeza families are related to me, however I am currently researching Rosales/Saucillo, Chih. and Shafter,TX church records. I would be glad to share any information I have or obtain later. However, I don't have any information on John Spencer. I am familiar with the family and their history with Las Juntas Ranch, Shafter and Presidio Co. from handed down stories. This reply will also be in response to your Martinez board posting. Good luck on your search.
Best regards,
