My husbands great grandmother was Josephine Turner. Her father was John C. Turner. Josephine appears on the 1870 census for Trinity county, along with husband James Smith and son John. I am trying to find out more about her, i.e. where she married, where James Smith was born and died. Josephine remarried to a Willoughby Tullos then to J.C. Green. Josephine is buried in the Stryker cemetery in Polk county. I would appreciate any help and information. jjltexasgal1943@yahoo.com
