I am researching Bold Springs Cemetery in Polk County, Texas. I have posted my original survey online at the Rootsweb "Polk County Connections" website and I am working on an updated version of the survey. I am trying to document each person in the cemetery, with other people buried in the cemetery that they are related to, either by birth or marriage. I am including parents names, marriage dates, children, etc. I am trying to provide as correct a record as I can manage, according to the data I have collected. I need a lot of help to get it finished... Hopefully this survey of the graves of the people buried at Bold Springs Cemetery will be of use to those people hunting genealogical data on their families.

I have the names and birth dates of 6 of the children of Louis S. & Minnie Ola Tipton Rhoden. The marriage date that you gave for Louis & Minnie, February 24, 1943, is the date of one of their children's birth. The earliest child's birth record that I found was in 1930. Was that marriage date that you posted in your message a typo?

Do you have the correct marriage date for Louis S. & Minnie Ola Tipton Rhoden?

Minnie and Louis are buried beside Henry Joseph & Hatty Hood Tipton in Bold Springs Cemetery.
I am assuming that this is Minnie's father and step-mother?
Can you confirm whether or not this is true?

Also, do you have the names of the parents of Louis S. Rhoden?

If you can provide this information, I would appreciate it very much.
Sincerely,
Nollene Marsh
