I am researching the Stephen Smith line. He migrated with his family from Butler County, AL to Polk County, and is listed on the 1860 census for the community of Moscow Dist 3 in Polk County. On the 1870 census they are listed in Livingston P.O. area, and 1880 in Livingston Dist 67. He served CSA Co. F ....His wife was Harriett Peavy. Their children are:
Theodosia bn 1853 AL
John Thomas bn 1855 AL
Rebecca bn 1857 TX
Lydia O. bn 1861 TX
Lucy Wade Smith (my ggrandmother) bn 1865 TX
George B. bn 1868 TX
Stephen and Harriett spent their last two years living with "a daughter" in Josserand, Trinity Co., TX. It was not Lucy. I do not know and have not been able to find information on any of the siblings. I do not know where Stephen and Harriett are buried. Anyone know this family?
