Billye, I was unable to reach you at your e mail address. It is a small world. I enjoyed living in New Caney. My daughter finished high school at New Caney High. I moved back to Houston, but sometimes I wish I had stayed there.
I sure would like to see Nancy's will. Would you e mail it to me or leave a message. I recently found some notes I had taken on the Haynes family. There is a 1860 Census, which was after Harvey's death.

Polk Co, Texas

Nancy 48 yrs b. 1812 S. C
Evant Preston 20 yrs b. 1840 Ala
Jane F. 9 yrs. b. 1851 Ala
Mary E. 12 Yrs. b. 1848 Ala
James S. 6Yrs b.1854 Ala

William W. 36yrs b. 1824 Ky
Isaac 30 Yrs Farmer b. 1830 Ala
Elinor 23 Yrs b. 1837 Ala
Janie Dee 5 yrs. b. 1855 Ala
Fanny 2 yrs. b. 1857
Harvey P. 5mths b. 1859 Ala

It looks like Isaac was still in Ala in at least part of 1859, or maybe he had left his wife there, and returned for her.
If I find anything that I feel you will be interested in I will send a message.
