William Henry Chambless’ father was John Chambles, and his mother was Mary E. Barnes. They had 4 children (that I know of), named W.H., Martha J, Delia A, and Lucinda. These last two daughters are married into my Rhoden family.

Johns Chambles’ father was W. Chambles, born in Georgia in 1817. His wife’s initial was ‘D.’ She was born in 1822 in North Carolina.

W. Chambes, and his wife ‘D’ had 4 children (that I have found), and their initials were:
John Chambles, L Chambles, H Chambles, and C. Chambles.

I have more information if you need. I also have photo's of most of the Chambless tombstones at Menard Chapel. I would like to add your family to the Chambless line. Please contact me for more info... Ed Rhoden
