Robert A. Sumrall/ Polk and Tyler County

I am trying to find information on Robert A. Sumrall. I believe that he owned land in Polk and Tyler Counties. Info from says the land was adjoining. There is a date on the record from of 14May1905. I don't know if that was the date it was transfered to the Patentee, or the date he homesteaded the place. I believe that he probably went to Texas in the late 1850's or early 1860's. He may have had a son named William Harper Sumrall. He was also related to Collins families that may have migrated to the area from Jones, Clarke, Jasper Counties in Mississippi. Could have been living near them. I am looking for any and all information that anyone can share with me.If anyone can help me, I would surely appreciate it.
Thanks, Susan
