Santa Lucia poisoning

In what part of Pecos County was the town or community of Santa Lucia located? On January 17, 1903, according to news accounts, T. J. (Thomas Jefferson) Ray and his sisters, Amy (Elizabeth) and Lucretia, were poisoned. Thomas apparently survived, but the women died at about that time.

Newspaper accounts of the incident were widely published all over the U.S., but they became so sensationalized it is difficult to understand what really happened.

Is there a Pecos County Historian who knows of this incident, or who knows of a cemetery where the sister's remains are buried.

Thanks, Loyd
