This is a rather distinctive name. Anyone have any SCHOOLEYor LEMMON
connected to MORRIS?
This fellow b. April 1856, Morgan Co, OH. 1870 he resided in Washington
Co., OH-son of David MORRIS [1828-1900] & Rachel Ann [ca 1827-1905]. He
married W. Josephine DANIEL, 30 April 1879 in Morgan Co, OH. They had 3
children-Carlos William MORRIS [1880, OH-1946]; Hallie E. MORRIS [b. 20 June
1883, OH]; Nellie MORRIS b. June 1886, IL]. By June 1900, Schooley was a
widower, clergyman, residing in Tamaroa Village, Perry Co, IL. Schooley
married again 24 March 1901 in Ashley, Washington Co, IL to Grace Irene
TOPPING [1867-1935]. In April 1910, Schooley, age 54y, and wife, Grace, are
enumerated in Weatherford, Parker Co, TX where he is a minister/Free Will
Baptist. In Jan 1920 the couple are enumerated in Forest, Pottawotomie, OK,
where Schooley is a minister/preacher working on his own account, while
Grace is a teacher/works for wages. Schooley died 16 May 1922, Spring
Garden Twp, Jefferson Co, IL. What happened to his first wife, Josephine?
Where is she buried? Where is Schooley buried? What happened to their 2
daughters, Hallie E. and Nellie?
