I found E. Mulkins born abt 1826 N. Y. on the 1860 census for Parker Co TX, occupation grocer. Wife born Illinois. One daughter and one son both born Texas. There is a child living with them R. Ray, 10 or 12 years old female. I am searching for Rebecca Jane Ray who is rumored to have been adopted by a Mulligan family.
Does anyone know anything about this family?
