This was fond in the West News West, McLennan Co. Tx newspaper under their years ago section.

Nine person, it is stated have recently been killed by the Indians, about twenty five miles form Weatherford, Parker Co. On Keechi Creek in that county, the people are building forts for protection.

Just thought it might be of interest for those of you doing research in Parker Co.
