I am trying to confirm lineage of JR, JH McDowell, b 1845 who married Emma King b 1854 (around 1873) and moved to Texas in 1801. Prelimnary research indicates that he is the son of Tennessee Whitehead McDowell and John H. McDowell. John H and Tenessee are burried in The Flora Cemetery and both families show up on the Brownsville P.O. Census for Hinds County. JR or JH and Emma King had 3 boys, Marion Leon (ML)b 1874 who was a minister in Texas and Percy b 1876 who is burried in Parker Cty Texas and E.U. or C.H.b 1878. JR (JH) brought his family to Hunt county TX (Greenville) then went to Indian Territory in OK for a few years and returned to Parker county, TX (springtown - weatherford area) Do not know where he or emma died or are burried.

Any assistance would be appreciated
