James Baker b 1812 SC, both parents b NC. Wife Jane b 1840 SC, moved to Miss where they had sons James Monroe and John T in 1858 and 1862. They then moved to Parker Co, TX. At some point they had Henry and Martha.
James Monroe Baker married Sarah Jane Holder, they had a farm near Garner, most of his family land became the site of Lake Mineral Wells. They had children Hattie Z., Mattie, Ruth, and twins Jenny and James I.
James T. married Alice Arminta and had three sons.
Henry married Timmie, he taught school and had 8 children.
Martha married Frank Dalton and had Lou, Walter, Bob, and Will.
Does this look familiar to anyone?
Searching the name James Baker has become a nightmare!
