Lavonne,

I'm looking for any info on my greatgrandfather, John B. Thomas, who I believe was born in Alabama in 1869. He died in Newcastle, Young County, Texas, in 1923. I don't know anything at all about his parents and possible brothers/sisters.

John B. Thomas married his first wife (name unknown) and they had a son, Jack Thomas, who worked for the Graham Water Department. The first wife is supposed to be buried in Garner, Texas. John and his second wife, Mary, had 5 children. John was killed in a shootout between union and nonunion workers in 1923.

Everything before John B. Thomas is my brick wall. Do you know anything about this family?

Thanks!
Lynn Allen
