Hi Jim. Happy New Year to you, too! Thanks for your reply.
I am trying to find information on my late husband's family. His mother was a Witherspoon and her father was George Cody Witherspoon. I can remember going to Weatherford several times after we married in 1967 to see Uncle Ted and Aunt Emily, who still lived there on the farm. Unfortunately, at that time, I wasn't into working on family history, so I just took those visits for granted along with all of the other relatives that we would be around at the time. Now, they are all gone and I would like to have something about the family to pass on to my sons.
Genealogical information on the family is important, but I would also love to learn more about them as people, too!! Did you or do you know any of the family?
Dorinda
