Johnson County is bordered by Ellis, Hill, Navarro, Hood, and Tarrant Counties, and only a hop skip and a jump from Dallas, and Parker county. Your elusive ancestors could be here.

Cleburne Memorial Cemetery of Johnson County Texas has been cataloged!!!

This beautiful book measures 9 inches by 11 Ĺ inches. The presentation cover appears in dark blue marble with the words Cleburne Memorial Cemetery embossed in white on the front and it is bound with a white comb.

Within its contents is a photo of a Confederate Monument erected in 1921. There is also a brief history of the cemetery. In addition there is a map of the entire cemetery along with expanded maps of blocks which do not conform to the most common blocks within the cemetery. Each grave has its on address with directions on how to find each one. PLUS A FULL INDEX!!

Almost 9000 people have been listed with notes from cemetery records as well as headstones. Sometimes when a grave had no marker the burial date along with the personís age at the time of burial has been included from the log. There are additional notes given when a stone contained information about marriage, family relationships, military service and occasionally the location of birth and death. Some buried here are among the "Founding Fathers" of Johnson County. Their names can be found on street signs when taking a drive around Cleburne.

A limited number has been printed. A check or money order will be accepted for $48 which includes tax and shipping costs. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for delivery. Please make the check or money order payable to:
