CSA troops from Weatherford, Parker TX

Does anyone know anything about the CSA troops out of Parker Co., Texas? I am looking to find information or perhaps a web site that tells about SIM'S BATALLION A., BROWN'S REGIMENT. I have a great grandfather (WILLIAM BLUFORD CANTWELL) that was a Commanche Indian scout at age 15 (1862) and then joined the above regiment at 16, serving from 1863-1865. I would like to know how I might find a printed roster of those regiments from around Weatherford, TX and Parker CO? And any other interesting information about the CSA troops of that time period. Thanks, Sharyn Cantwell Baker
