After such a long time, you may already have this information. Alec was son of George Featherkile. George received first land patent on 160 acres directly across the road from Lemley Cemetery where Alec and Eliza are buried. My great-grandfather bought the Featherkile land November 1901. Lemley Cemetery history states that George brought his family from Indiana in 1854. His daughter Nancy, married Hayden Hill in Parker County in 1865. Alec served in the Frontier Troops when he was 17. He was a Civil War veteran as well. I am keeping an eye out for this family because of ties to the land. Contact me by email if you would like further documentation as I live in Parker County now.
Good luck,
Dana
