Hey. I think Susan's last name could be Davis, but i'm not sure. On Reece Taylor's death certificate, his mother is listed as Susan Davis, but his father is listed as James Britton Taylor. James Britton was actually his brother. It's possible, though, that the person who provided the info (it was in 1959, so most of the kids, and James Paul were dead) just got their middle names mixed up. By looking at the 1850 Panola census, i've narrowed Elizabeth's father down to two people. Jonathan Anderson, born in 1806 in Alabama, who was the sheriff in 1850. And Bailey W. Anderson, born in South Carolina in 1803. My problem is, these Panola Andersons get mixed up all the time, so I never know who is which unless I look directly at the census. There's 3 John Andersons living there in 1850. Then there's the younger Johnathan Hadley Anderson, who was a clerk.
