Hi again Josh. I found this on Ancestry.com. It is a family tree of James Paul Taylor. I believe it is your Paul.

There is a lot more on it. Also a picture of James Paul Taylor. I also found another family with a different father, but, I believe it is not correct. The dates on the father and mother could not make them the parents of James. I always make sure everything connects before I go to the next generation. Otherwise, you could be doing research on the wrong family. At least this gives you something to go on. Just make sure if you are useing other peoples info, you back it up with a paper trail.
On the LDS website, I was able to find the death cert. for your James Edgar Taylor, and Sam Thomas Taylor, I went from that info on their death records.
Also back in the 1930,s, the Taylor family had a grocery store in Panola,Tx. It was the Taylor's Grocery Store and owned by Cecil Taylor and his wife.
I checked the 1846 tax records for your Taylor family, and found a William H Taylor and a Hugh A Taylor living in Panola,Tx paying tax on land. I would check to see who their children are too. They could be relatives also. I hope this helps you. Vidia
