Have you looked on RootsWeb.com, Ancestry.com and FamilySearch, org, the Mormon church website? These are all very helpful.
I live about 35 miles north of Carthage and to the NW of Carthage is a settlement called Holland's Quarters. (We used to steal watermelons out of a patch when I was a teenager). Don't know if this is the same family or not. Why not try to "Google" Holland's Quarters and see what comes up?
