Sawmills

I have learned that my grandfather, William A. McDaniel, moved to Panola County in the 1890s and worked cutting lumber for someone who owned a sawmill and the owned the land they were cutting. During this time, the sawmill owner occasionally had his hands help out at the home of the widow Mary Elizabeth Camp. On the 1900 census they are in Justice Precinct no. 1, sheet 29. She had a son who worked for a sawmill according to this census. Her daughter Lillie later married my grandfather in 1903 and they settled in Carthage.

I have never found my grandfather on the 1900 census but he should be in Panola County. He was born in 1879 in Arkansas.

Can anyone help me find out him on the 1900 census? Howabout the names of sawmill owners about 1895 to 1903 in the Carthage area?
