I am trying to connect to anyone researching Joseph Murray's family. He is in the Rusk County's 1850 census in Texas. Joseph Murry (sic) is 35 and is from Georgia. His wife, Louisa is 30 and is from Tennessee. Their children are Martha, 5, Alabama; Mary Murray, 5, Alabama (apparently twins) and Wyley Murry, 10, Alabama.

In 1870, I found Joseph Murray again in Rusk County, Henderson p.o. with his family: Joseph Murray, 52, GA, farmer; Louisa, 47, TN; George, 17, TX; Louisa, 14, TX; Susan J., 11, TX; Nancy E., 7, TX, Eveline, 4, TX; and Josephine, 2, TX. George Murray is shown in my records as been born in Henderson, Panola, Texas. I am trying to find the family in 1860, but so far they haven't been in Panola or Henderson. I did find George Murray and his family in

Anyone out there researching this family? Corine
