I am trying to find out if there are any CROSSLAND families from Palo Pinto. I have the following information.
James L. Crossland B: abt 1818, possibly in South Carolina. Married Cemantha Waters, B: 27 Jul 1830 MS.
I think they had 4 children. Josephene, Martha Jane, Terry Leranora & Robert Winfield.
Possibly a second marriage produced children ?, James H., Margaret & WM.
I am looking for information on Robert Windfield who might have possibly lived there. He married Sarah Jane Sears 30 Nov 1873, possible Navarro TX but not sure. Their children
are Cora Florence, Lela Beatrice, James Alexander, Rebecca Jane, Robert Guy, Eli Whitney, Sallie Leranora, & Gat Jefferson. All born in Texas. My greatgrandmother is Lela Beatrice & I want to know where she was born. Some say Navarro TX & some say Palo Pinto TX. Any information would be appreciated. She was in Mangum OK & married there in 1893. Thanks, Judy
