I am seeking information on any Braddys that lived in Palo Pint, Young (1880s), Taylor, Jack (1893), Montague (late 1890-1910), Cooke (1910-1912), Fannin and Hunt Counties, TX. Also, Pontotoc County, OK. My great grandfather, J. B. Braddy applied for Confederte pension in 1899 in Palo Pinto County which was finalized in Gainsville in late 1899. He reportedly lived in Texas from about 1836 until moving to Wyoming with his eldest daughter, Margaret L. Braddy Simpson sometime after about 1910. Joseph (Joe)B. Braddy and family lived along a line from Buffalo Gap/Abilene through the above counties into Oklahoma. Two sons, Charlie and Dick lived there final days in Ada, OK along with their mother, Fanny until 1911/1912. Unable to locate Fannie after death of Dick in 1911 in Ada, OK. Charley (ie) and Dick are buried in Rosedale Cemetery, Ada, OK. Joe lived out his final days in Jackson, WY along with eldest daughter, Margaret (Maggie) L. Braddy Simspon, until 1916 when he died. The Braddys were friends of T. B. Kile and Anton Kile families of Ada and Durant,OK. Also seeking info re Charles E. Wyatt and his wife, Vina J. Kinder Wyatt, Vina was the half sister of Fanny Mitchell. Fanny and Vina were the daughters of Angeline Mayfiled Mitchell Kinder. Charles, Vina and Fanny lived out their latter years in Payne and Pawnee counties, OK. Direct contact: rogerbraddy2004@yahoo.com
