I'm hoping that someone can help me find the date and place of death for Edward Dionysius Oliver, b. Apr 1856 Bastrop Co, TX, who owned and ran a Drygoods Store in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, Texas at the turn of the century, sometime between 1900 to 1909. His wife was Mattie (Aldridge), b. Dec 1859, Bastrop Co, TX. They show up in the 1900 census in Mineral Wells and are also shown in the 1909 Mineral Wells city directory. I have found Mattie (Aldridge) Oliver in subsequent census living in Fort Worth with one of her daughters and Mattie later died in Dallas, TX in 1926. I know that some of the family (three sons) went to New Mexico and registered there for the WWI draft, but there is no indication that their father, Ed D. Oliver, accompanied them. Ed D. Oliver's parents were Dionysius M. Oliver and Lydia (Hunt) Oliver who had married in Bastrop County, Texas.

Where and when did E.D. Oliver die and where is he buried?
