Rick, thanks for the additional information. I will follow up on it. I have been able to trace backwards on Albert Ray Riley using Ancestry.com. Paul of RAOGK is going to check the libray in Corpus Christi tomorrow to see if the boating accident is listed in its holdings. He had already planned a trip to it.

I did send/receive email from one of the female Riley siblings this afternoon. I directed her to the FamilySearch.org and told her how to view/copy the death certs. I did chide her for never including any of the data on the siblings (9 of them) adoptions. I told her that it should have been included in every query she posted.

I tell my fellow genealogists at our meetings to use Who, What, Where, and When as their guide to posting a good query.
I have been doing genealogy research since 1963. I am never to old to learn some new methods.
