Bettye: I believe that I have located the individuals via online Texas Death Certificates at FamilySearch. All three of the below individuals died as a result of a boat explosion which occurred on Red Fish Bay, 5 September 1953. The name of informant on all three certificates is the same,Cliffton Ray Riley. The individuals killed were:

Dale Newton Riley
Albert Ray Riley
Edith Riley

You can view the actual certificates and will find much more personal data. I'm sure this made the local papers so you should be able to find out more, if so inclined. I will do a quick search of the Dallas paper to see if something appeared there, probably the Houston papers carried it as well. Hope this helps, Rick
