In the mid 1840's, John & Flora Matilda Smith moved to Corpus Christi, Texas with their children Percy (female) born about 1834 in Missouri, Mary b. abt 1836 in MO., Laura b. abt 1838 in MO., Cordelia born abt 1839 in MO., and Sampson b. abt 1842 in Iowa.
They purchased lots 3 and 4 on block 3 along Water Street in Corpus Christi in 1846. Property Taxes were paid by Flora M. Smith until 1870 and by the Heirs of Flora Smith until 1875. I am a descendent of Percy Smith McDonald and I would like to establish contact with other descendents of John and Flora Smith.
