By now you may have found what you wanted. On the 1900 census for Nolan Co, TX, no McLaughlin or Michael. By 1910 there is one McLaughlin household, James 53, wid, b TX, his dau Ellie M., 12, b TX and his father David, 92, wid, b GA. No Michael on 1910 census Nolan Co, TX.

If this is the family you're researching. Go to Rootswebe's WorldConnect site -- http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi -- Type in McLaughlin, David, born 1829 + or minus 5 years, spouse Ellen. Several are working on this line and some do not agree on information. Of course some may have just copied from one another. I'd get in touch with submitters and learn their sources. Oh, I used birth year of 1829 for David as I found him on 1860 census in Upshur Co, TX with wife Ellen and some of his children. Age then was 31.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
