There seems to be a tie with LA. I notice on the 1910 census in JASPER Co, TX, one of the daughters was born in LA. So, I checked 1920 census and found Jesse as a widower in Cameron Parish.
This looks like daughter Ollie. Note informant was her son Jessie W. Davis, so she may have been married more then once.
