Recieved the following information on records. followed the instructions and recieved records on Louise, Alice and Lela Evans. Took about three weeks.
I sent a copy of Louise's death certificate.
The State Orphan Home became the Texas Youth Authority.

Dear Mr. Hicks:
The records for the Corsicana State Home were moved to Austin when The Texas Youth Commission instituted a correctional faculty for youth on the site.
I am told that not all records survived. If the student is deceased, I am informed that you can apply to receive copies of records.
However, the letter sent to me says these records are confidential and available only to the student. If the student is deceased, the TYC Commission requires a copy of the student's identification and the identification of the requestor.
Specific items are required a request:
Requestor's mailing address
Requestor's daytime phone number
Full name of the State Home Student (if requestor is not the student)
Student's date of birth
Student's death certificate (if applicable)
Copy of requestor's identification (if requestor not the student)
