DE QUEEN, Ark.—Larry Wayne Davis, 51, of Nacogdoches, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, in Nacogdoches.
Mr. Davis was born Nov. 4, 1954, in Harrisburg, Ark. He was self-employed, a member of Lilly Grove Baptist Church, Nacogdoches, and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Key Davis; two daughters, Larissa Henley of Nacogdoches and Shawna Poole of Rusk, Texas; his parents, J.D. Davis of Taylor, Ark., and Dorothy Harrison of Texarkana; six brothers, James Davis of Lockesburg, Ark., Bill Davis of Lewisville, Ark., Floyd Davis and Daniel Davis of Nashville, Ark., Bobby Davis of Texarkana and Kenneth Davis of Durant, Okla.; two sisters, Phyllis Cline and Mary Bland of Texarkana; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Redmen Cemetery with the Rev. Sonny Scarborough officiating. Burial will be under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
