I am looking for info on James Bracken Bryan. He and his wife Lenora Mitchell and son William Carroll Bryan were in Texas at least by 1838. Henrietta (1839), Louisa (1841) and James, Jr. (1843) were all born in Texas. The two girls may have been born in Harrison County, but James, Jr. swore he was born in Nacogdoches County. That could have been in Dallas, which was still in Nacogdoches County in 1843. Any help would be appreciated.
