I am looking for information regarding Harvey S.Washington (b:1824,,m:1851,d:1914) .
He was supposedly born in Wake County, North Carolina
and married Nancy C. Allcorn in approx.1851 in Floyd County, Georgia.
He is confirmed in 1860 census for Floyd County,Georgia
with wife Nancy and 4 children (George(7),John S.(6),Allis A.(4),Joseph E.(2)).
There is also a listing in the 1850 census index for a Washington and an Allcorn,
not sure if this is them or not.
I was able to find some info on LDS,but have been unable to verify the info.
I believe that there were a total of 10-12 children,his son John Summers Washington
moved to the Texas Panhandle (Motley County) and is confirmed as the father of Marvin and Clarence S..
I have been able of find a good bit of info on Nancy (parents sibs etc.),but absolutely
NOTHING on Harvey,except the 1860 census.
He is listed as Harvey in the census,however that might be a nick-name.
