My mother's name was Morris. Her father emigrated from Wales to South Africa at the time of the Boer war. Her uncles were Herbert and Frank Morris, who had two sons, Gus and Frank. Her aunt was a Charlotte Morris, she was the matron of the Joyce Green hospital in London in the 1930s. I know there are two cousins Herbert and Irene both in their 80s living in England. My grandfather whose name I do not remember married my grandmother Susan Macdonald from Aberdeen, Scotland at the turn of the century I think. My mother told me that we were somehow related to Sir Francis Drake. Sketchy, but that's all I know.
