Thank you for your response.

James Ernest Baugh was born Feb. 12, 1854, in MS; d. August 17, 1929, possibly/probably Conroe, Montgomery Co., TX. His death certificate information may have been given by Susie May Baugh Peoples (Mrs. Thomas). She was his daughter.

It is my understanding she may have buried him in a pauper's grave/cemetery. When I relayed this information to my uncle, he said, "No wonder Mother was so upset."

James has been very hard to research because no one seems to know much about him.

I did not find a death certificate on him in the State Vital Records. There is a James E. Baugh who d. in Houston at age 26, so this is not the correct Baugh.

Thank you for your trouble and any thing you can find.
