I am attempting to find the burial site of James Ernest Baugh, who died in Harris Co., TX, but was apparently buried in Conroe, Montgomery Co., TX. He may have been buried in a pauper's grave. His daughter, Susie Baugh Peoples, would have signed the death certificate, if there is one, as she lived in Montgomery Co. at the time of his death.
Susie's son was the U.S. Marshal Clinton Thomas Peoples.
Is there a record of pauper's graves in Montgomery Co. courthouse? If so, what department should I contact for this information?
