The Montague Cemetery that I am interested in was confirmed by a person who drove to the cemetery that it was located in San Jacinto Co., TX. next to the Montague Church of Christ of which both are located barely over three miles from the San Jacinto/Liberty Co. line. She also confirmed that there is no Montague Cemetery or a Montague Church of Christ in Liberty Co. Many folks who have died in LIberty County have been buried in the Montague Cemetery, but the obits never mention that the cemetery is located not in Liberty Co., but in San Jacinto Co. Therefore, many family records are incorrect pertaining to the location of the Montague Cemetery.
