the only thing I could think of is, you may need to go to the Mongomery Land and Abstract office to see who is the owner of the homestead now.
The owner may or may not let you onto the property unless
Judge Linton made a cemetery deed at the courthouse,
hopefully if you find the newest owner he will be delighted to show you the gravestones, if any were placed there.
