In Ref. to Pvt. Edgar A. Baker.

Pvt. Baker was removed to Muenster from Bexar County 10-19-1918 for burial at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. He is buried in Division 22 Section 54. The dates on the headstone correspond with his dob and dod. The gray obelisk headstone does not mention any military service, but rather reads husband of Iona.
Another WW I casualty, Jasper Gardner is also buried in Division 22 Section 50 with other family members. There are no military indicators on his headstone, but the dob and the dod match along with census pairings of the family.
Good Luck. I appreciate your project!
