Neal,
I only found one Luther D.(Delmore)Robertson who died in Texas since 1964. He died in Jefferson County, Texas on 2 Mar 1965. There are several ways to determine if he is the correct "LDR" and the cheapest way may well be the quickest. Go the the Jefferson County Web Site at http://resources.rootsweb.com/USA/TX/Jefferson/ and if they don't have someone listed as a volunteer to do obit lookups, simply write a short request for "help find an obit" and put it on the query forum of that site.

Of course another way is order a death certificate. http://www.vitalrec.com/tx.html

If you live near Jefferson County, you can go to the courthouse and lookup his death record and see if his parents match those of his brother!

If it doesn't work out we can probably find him in the 16 'missing years' from 1948 to 1964. Those 16 years do not have online death records and you have to go about it a different way.
