Might you have a marriage record for Noah Karnes who married Alice Lucinda Morgan on May 20, 1880 supposedly? I found him (age 6) in 1860 in Fayette Co. and married for 20 years to Alice on TX 1900 (& 1910) census for Mills County which supposedly was not formed til 1887. I couldn't find them on the 1880 census.

I am really trying to document her father as being James. James and Lucinda were 46 and 3 in 1860, then 55 and 14 in 1870 on Trinity Co., TX censuses.

I have written a lady who has a book on early Trinity Co. TX since mariages were usually in bride's home area.

Thanks for any help,
Mary Anne
